To be fair I dont think is Scion doing to us rather it the marketing co. that the are using. So i am sorry Scion we still have faith in ya.

I was stoked reading the email from Scion telling me about the trip to Cali. Then I got to the bottom and read that they can not accommodate guests. I was pretty bummed so I asked about taking my girlfriend and they said they have "limited capacity." For us to buy this car it is going to be a joint effort so I feel like she should get to experience all of this as well.

I think we should just all be glad who ever got selected even got a chance to have a trip all paid for, cuz after all none of this was promised so anything they give us is a plus in my book, if you cant make it you cant make it, leave the wives/gf at home or in some of your cases you'll get left at home lol you could always get your own room for them and just fly them out yourself, yeah they wont be able to go to all the events but we probably wont be doing events 24/7 so you will get a chance to explore and experience California on your own time

Well I agree a +1 would be nice, but to be honest...scion didn't have to do any of this for us. Were lucky they have offered us this trip. Not like we entered this contest fro the trip, we did it for the car. The trip IS a bonus for those able to attend. In the past scion has offered compensation for those unable to attend, so u never know.

I heard they also leave spending cash or visa gift cards on your bed as spending cash on your bed
so fellas if your girl won at least send her to pick up the spending cash so they can get themselves a lil something nice for winning the car for you lol

I had the same thought, I did verify we are in single rooms and not bunking in the museum or something like that, the response I got back was:

"You will be in single rooms, but we do advise against having a guest stay in your room"

In then end my +1 is cool with the trip and she's heavily involved with the church music program so wouldn't be able to go on Easter weekend anyway.

So, hope to see most of the First 86 there!

As I said before, all I expected was the car. My first reaction when I got the letter was to call my wife and tell her to request the day off, then I read further and realized she couldnt go. I was a little disappointed, but it's a free trip to California. I don't have to go, but I think it is pretty awesome ta t they're doing this.
