yeah hopefully someone local to WC knows the area enough to suggest a good meeting spot. I barely know WC at all.

the ideal spot has lots of parking, good lighting, selection of cafes or restaurants nearby, and minimal or friendly police presence. i.e. don't suggest the "local ricer hangout" where you know that people get regularly busted for doing burnouts or get hassled for no front plate, tint, loud exhaust etc. Or private security chases you out for loitering. basically a good safe family environment with parking.

Have not eaten there since moving to California. And they close on Sundays. But they do have the best chicken sandwiches for a fast food chain.

So far I can see a Thursday for this week at 7:30. No one has agreed to a place yet. But somewhere in the wc area. We need plenty of parking where we won't get bothered in the parking lot. And what are our options? So far chikaflick and Cheesecake Factory.

Parking situation? LOL I looked at google maps (satellite view) and all I saw was construction in progress on the chick-fil-a.

But I am down for chick-fil-a too, as long as that parking lot is actually done.
Adding it to the NorCal 86 DRIVE calendar.

I am usually around the Walnut Creek/Moraga area once every week and last time I checked isn't Chick-Fil-A next to a 24 hour Fitness? Last time I went there there were a good amount of cars but I'm guessing on weekdays its less packed because I'm usually there on Fridays and Saturday. But either way I am definitely down for some Chick-Fil-A (I have a free chicken sandwich from last time because they thought I waited long for my order)

Lol, it at least looked like there was a parking lot. Cheesecake factory looked like it was in the middle of down town with multiple parking structures (potential for confusion?), so I had to make an executive decision (and that decision was swayed by the promise of breaded fried poultry )
