Washed all of the salt off of my car today. I forgot it was black. Also installed a stage 2 red LED dome light and stage 1 white LED license plate lights from Diode Dynamics. They both look fantastic.

I was definitely considering this. It's funny in the pic it looks like they are the same color but when you see it in person you can tell it's not. The hyper yellows look awesome to me especially on the CBM color.

I think I'll be doing that to the turns too now that you mention it. I also want to black out the headlight housing OR get the Winjets....I really like the winjets but then I'll lose the yellow DRLs....but if I keep the turn signals yellow...then hmmmmmm....

Put in hid today. Couldn't figure out how to work the relay and also because my kit did not come with the connector thing that goes on the stock connector I had to dismantle the relay to use the connector piece on the relay.

Running the hid without an relay right now, works fine and all but should I be worry long terms?

Gonna do the side markers now

I believe the relay makes it so the battery powers your HIDs. This helps aid in the flickering that some people get in their HIDS and also uneven ignition of the HID Bulbs (one side turns on and the other doesn't).

I think HIDS needs like a million volts or something, some absurd number to ignite the gas...and just relying on the original connectors isn't going to be enough, which is why the relay draws power from the battery.

Not everyone uses a relay, some people don't use a relay and their HID systems are fine. Some people have problems and require a relay.
