Would some residual E85 in the tank on fill when swapping from the E85 maps to a normal Stage 2 gasoline map cause a lean condition until the LTFT's adjusted for it? If so it doesn't look like they have moved from 0 during WOT yet. I'll drive some more today and log again tomorrow to see how much it adjusts. If the leak is still there I'll cough up the cash to get a shop to install them because if the leak is still there apparently I can't install headers correctly (or the flanges are warped). |

Ok, thanks. Just checked google maps. It had 8 miles on the reflash when I started logging and put another 8 on it during the log. Not sure if 16 miles is enough time for it to adjust but I'll check again tomorrow after I put ~50 on it tonight.

Sigh... I think you are right shiv, but I'm going to at least run this tank out to make sure the higher ethanol content isn't causing all this weirdness. Is there anything else that would cause LTFT's to jump around? DI seals, Intake leaks, etc? Logs coming home from dinner look semi fine to me on the highway. LTFT is a tad high but stable. The one pull I did getting on the highway had AFR's in the low 12's this log.

Here's a log I took from last night. From around 6000rps WOT LTFT climbs up to 14% and stays there till redline and goes down to 8% at idle, lower rpms and low load conditions. Doesn't look to be an vacuum or exhaust leak. AFR is lightly richer than target AFR's. I had the Advance multiplier value go down to .0 from around .8 couple of times (not on the log). How much does the engine have to be knocking for that to happen? Mods: afe drop-in filter, cut intake scoop, a catless J2 front pipe and v1.42 STG 1 OFT. This might be a stupid question.... but... I'm having a hell of time trying to update my OFT. This is my first time using Windows since the 90's... so that might be the issue. I'm on 8 and I ran the update for 8.1 and I believe I installed the patch. Anyway, when I connect the OFT and it searches for updates, it find one and then when I click okay to update it I get an "Updater" error. It says "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application...
yada yada... The process cannot access the file '.\\updater.exe' because it is being used by another process." Any ideas? |

http://www.datazap.me/u/solidone/12-...?1-2-4-9-10-11 The LTFT at WOT and high RPMs had gone up as high as 16.41% today. Any ideas, Mr. Pathak? @shiv@vishnu? |
