whats a good coil over to buy for the brz
i was looking at purchasing the st coil overs i heard good news about them was just wondering from peoples opions if that is worth buying because i can get them for 850$ installed compared to 2000$ for the kw3's i want something thats gunna handle nice any other recomendations for any other brands but I'm really leaning towards the st's due to the good price/quality

I suggest JRZ 1431 dampers. They have a good price/quality ratio.

Go for the st's...I wanted something that was decent for dd, but still fun when I hit up the canyons. The ST co's were it. Obviously if you've got the cash to burn, the kW3's are great, but for me, The ST coilovers fit the bill, and you'll have money left over to do bushings, exhaust, tune etc
And hit up Jurrian @ModBargains.com for ordering, their a forum vendor and you can expect great pricing and service. |

I've heard of this awesome brand its called Research....
It's like it matches all your ideas of what a good one is and then it even tells you all the fine details of how much it will cost too.

I really want to buy a new motorcycle, but I can get a really good deal on a Huffy and a deck of playing cards. I heard that the cards will give me that awesome motorcycle sound if installed correctly.
On a more serious note, if you just want to lower it a bit, then skip the coilovers and get some RCE Yellows and be done with it. When the stock shocks blow, replace them with some Koni's. For all other coilover choices, pick one, then click the search button and read what others have posted. |

At that price I'd say go with the STs. They're perfectly acceptable, although you would ofcourse get a better ride and better quality with the KWs. The way I look at parts is "am I willing to spend this much on this part? Are the improvements worth the extra $1200 to me?".
Also, if this is for a street setup, KW's lifetime warranty definitely helps. I've blown pretty high-end shocks on the street before, so it's nice to have the company help you out. |
