SoCal BRZ Group Buy

$300 above invoice is still really good, especially considering the supply/demand of these things and the hype it's getting. Anything on top of that would be awesome of course, but not necessary, for me at least.
Personally, I don't think I'd be buying any accessories or anything like that anyways, although I haven't really looked into what is available.

Also, I got an email from Frank this morning saying that "Right now we have a hold on all orders", and that he'll keep me posted.

A bit disappointing, because I was basically waiting for him to confirm the hours he was going to be there to put in my deposit, and now it looks like I might have missed my chance. Hopefully it ends up working out in the end though.

well I didnt end up going after all cause how I only have 1 day off from work I had to do a few chores

i emailed frank last night and he replied back this morning simply stating that there is a hold on new pre-orders and he will keep me posted...

FAIL.

i need a car before school starts at the end of this summer, but i may not be able to be rolling around in a brz when the time comes...

ill be honest with you...the dealerships have really no Idea whats going on...(this is just my 2 cents OF WHAT I THINK) I think they have no idea how many cars there getting and no idea on the shipping date........When I bought my Evo 10 back in 08 but I left a depoist in late 07 they told me that there only getting a few in and I might not be able to get the model or car I want even with a depoit down..but then I started calling the dealers every once a week just to find out more info on the shipping date...and when I finally found out when they started to come in I was out the door..and let me tell you first they only recived 3 evos Blue, White and Silver. Then the next 3 days after that came 10 more...I say just hold it off and you'll see, they'll have more BRZ's then they could sell...thats how it always happens at the end..

There has been some rumors going around that BRZ will basically be order only and that they will have very few if any on their lots besides a show model/test drive vehicle. I really hope you are right as PH Subaru is not accepting my deposit.

yeah I heard that rumor too....but i've heard dealers say almost the same thing all the time...PH Subaru is right now in a safe zone cause they have no idea on any info on the BRZ...so those depoist's that people did are in the safe zone...basicly they went over board on the depoist's...more then they can chew...that is why they stopped all deposit's untill they have more futher info on the release date, pricing and of course the most important one of all SHIPPING LIST!!

I already talked to my friend that is a parts manager at another subaru dealership and he said that there taking depoist's in March! so thats where my business is going on less i hear something back from frank I really want to go with PH subaru cause of there awesome customer service and sales but if it doesnt work out i'll take my business else where ...
