Thanks! But I don't have any aftermarket suspension bits except for the springs themselves. I didn't get the starter pack with the adjustment bolts.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a little worried that adjusting the front camber will put the wheel/tire too close to the strut perch.
I do appreciate you sharing your track experiences re: camber. Quote:

I have bolts in the front running 17x8 +45 RPF1s and 245/40-17 tires with -1.2 with no rubbing issues. It's close to the perch, but it doesn't touch. My previous Hoosier R6s actually rubbed a smidge on the spring, not the perch. I decided to get the whiteline bushings to even out the rear. |

Although I think 6k-8k range would be a pretty good compromise for a dual duty 86 with v12 hankook level tires. For the stock ".93g tires....." Not so much. And the stock rubber is no where close to the v12 or similar level tires in terms of cornering grip. Do you or anyone else have an explanation for this?

here is some data from a 2012 autoslalom run
you can see my peak G's, as determined by the AiM SoloDL unit.. highest peak was a 1.49 G's car's stock. So who knows what the "official" is :/ but you can also see that it generally hovers below 1.0 during most of the run... but gets very, very close.

I think how long a tire can sustain grip at peak load may be also a factor. Anyway. Do it.... Do it...

It hard for me to believe that the stock tire can hold almost as much lateral gs as some sticky summer tires at .93g sustained.
One time I was making a right at an intersection, approaching the turn at less than 5mph, then I point the wheels, give it less than half throttle. The rear tires break loose just from that move..... Not what a ".93g" tire does. It was a fairly warm day as well. Definitely inconsistencies in the cornering g ratings.

Also, the G figures are measured by doing a skidpad CW, then CCW, and averaged. At least, in theory. |

Yes I understand. Was just trying to illustrate how NOT sticky the stock tires are.
