Me too!

I'm running a lightweight Braille battery that only has 15 Ah capacity, barely enough to keep up with the current load running around my usual routes now. It died just sitting in the garage after 4-5 days powering the alarm in mild temps let alone colder weather coming. If it were my daily driver it might work, but now I need to roll with the lightest electrical load possible. I'm thinking the electric p/s takes a fair amount of current, maybe the biggest drain of all, but will keep it!

I could re-install the heavy OEM battery and DRL mod but will only be driving it at another track day (Laguna Seca) and autocross (Portland Int'l.) before putting it in storage until next March. I'll have a trickle charger and the OEM battery then.

I've been thinking that a light sky blue would like really nice without pushing into ricer territory. It looks pretty nice on a silver GT86 in Gran Turismo 5, anyway, lol.

+1. The more I look at aftermarket wheels, and I saw all 209 17" sets that'll fit on tirerack.com, the more I appreciate the OEM wheel design. It's not too awfully heavy for the warranty and would be perfect if 8" wide. Plus a 225/45 tire on the stock wheel seems to be a good compromise between selection, weight, price and performance. And IMO it's gorgeous. I'm surprised how many comments I get on them, all favorable and surprised they're factory.

I'll save the cash for a good set of shocks and sway bars.

What's wrong w/ your alternator? What does the mod have to do w/ your car dying while it is sitting in the garage? I also run trickle chargers on pretty much all my cars due to small batteries.
______

For wheel colors, just look at the colors on your stock wheels for ideas. Also the other 10 series models (hint).

Nothing, output is nominal, but my short trips apparently aren't enough to offset starting and running with all accessories on even using lower gears to keep alternator spinning above 3,400 max output rpm according to Ultra Gauge.

Good question. Could be a defective battery since 9.4V after a three day drain indicates a dead cell or two. I have a call in to Braille warranty dept.

Which charger?

Pretty good unless you let one go dead. I also don't think they work w/ Lithium if you ever go that route.

alright boys, it took less than a month before an asshat SUV owner decided to park in a spot too small for his own good... his front plate mount tore my rear bumper up and now there is a dent and gouge in two spots... the bottom one isnt too bad but the top took it pretty bad... does anyone know how i should go about fixing this?

does anyone have the part number for 10 series touch up paint?

Aaargh, sorry. If the bumper was torn off there may be supporting structure damage. Have your favorite body shop inspect it thoroughly before agreeing to a settlement. Do not agree to a repainted bumper, demand a new one.

Consider hiring an independent diminished value appraiser licensed in your state to see if you can file for damages arising from Carfax, etc., flags. It might cost $200 but could return $2,000.

I don't have the paint P/N but the exterior code is shown on the passenger side B-pillar plaque.

Well it's the 10 Series owners car that was posted as the group's cover photo which only allows for certain sized photos and it wasn't cropped the group's cover is the overlay in black.

Here's the original if you want to see it.
