I'd get custom wheels such as CCWs, ROTIFORM, etc.

We don't know but since Subaru engineered and built the car with a lot of parts bin Impreza parts it's a pretty safe bet to assume so.

Thanks Nardi!
I know people are bummed about 5x100, but there are plenty of great wheels out there if you look hard enough. I have a set of 17x8 +35 5x100 Volk CE28N I want to transfer to the FR-S... this confirmation just made my day.

How wide do you guys want to go?
I personally dislike the deep dish look so I'm tine with the offsets that are available

I don't think a deep dish wheel would look right on this car (high face wheels) would be better

If buying any new decent 5x100 wheels then there will be a huge depreciation because they have a small market for them

I had an 04 STi which had the failed 5x100 hubs. It wasn't too hard to find wheels for them. I ended up with TR wheels but I had no qualms with buying Rotas (Rotas offer a lot 5x100 wheels). However, Rotas aren't going to work with the FT-S/BRZ IMO. They are far too heavy for a low hp / low tq car. Volk TE 17x8 would be perfect!
