These are top notch products, very typical of superb japanese engineering. However, just as was the case with my S2000, u will pay out the ass for maybe 15-20 hp. Dont buy products of this caliber unless u got the money to burn or u plan on keeping the car for life. Otherwise they dont net enough performance to justify the price.

So did anybody order one and fit the header + front pipe? I've got a few questions.
1. Did it require a separate overpipe? from the pictures in the OP it looks an overpipe would be separate to the header (rightly so because it would be near if no impossible to manuever it over the axle and other parts) nor front pipe (the tip is not far from the cat). 2. Where do the O2 sensors go? before+after the cat on the front pipe? Which means you'll need longer wires on the sensors? Or do they go on the header (not visible in OP's pictures?) I just found this on the sard site. SS muffler is on sale. the titanium versions are coming soon. Here's a link to the SS 3 piece set but it doesn't answer my first question. The header photo here shows the O2 sensor ports so I guess that answered question 2. From the photos it looks like you'll also need a separate midpipe section to connect the muffler. http://www.sard.co.jp/after/new/img/...10_Su-z_86.pdf Izurath's measurement of the cat looks about right as according to this brochure it says 65mm entry, 76.3mm exit. |
