I have a lot of time and little to do. Im on lets say a "vacation" at the moment, its hot and full of sand.. not a beach. Anyway i have a lot of time on my hands, so i spend it building my parts list. I have ran into a few issues.
1. Fitment. 2.when i have decided what kind of wheel, what is the best tire. i do tend to be more of the snap it and let it ride "slideways" kind of driver. but i also like my grip when i want it. 3. I am not keeping this N/A status for long. so supercharger or turbo. I know how a turbo handles. What about the supercharger? 4.Ive looked into light weight pulleys, and aesthetically they seem to do a good job. What actual effect would they have? I would like to say also that this forum has been a bug help thus far, and thank you.

2. so you want to slide, and have grip? idk sounds like you are asking for a lot. if you don't want super grippy tires go with 225 or 235 mid range performance tires. 3. ![]() 4. lightweight pulleys do have an effect but it is negligible alone. now, if you replace all the pulleys, the clutch/flywheel, driveshaft, and get lightweight wheels and tires you will see a pretty noticeable drifference. you are reducing rotational mass. reducing rotational mass is easy to understand. a lighter series of spinning shafts has less resistance than a heavier set. if i were you id look into E85

Rite now i'm looking at 17x9 +45s. My only concern is coil over specific (tein flex coilovers) witch i'm sure entails a bit more patients and research. As far as the tires, im sure i can snap grippy tires. I guess im looking far a happy median.

For tires, Sumitomo HTR ZIII. They're not nearly as sticky as SS Z2's or RS3's, but they're not fish-out-of-water at the track/autocross either. You can easily get the rear end to come around when you want. I would consider these the happy medium tires between slip and grip. As a bonus, they're cheap and relatively quiet.
