The only difference with the BRZ is the two extra wires that attach to the mirror light, you have to cut an extra hole
behind the mirror in order to pass them through the fabric.

Just something else to note, I started the car with the visor unplugged and blew the fuse for the interior lights, so be
careful with that.

FYI for those interested, I plastidipped the warning labels on mine. It didn't look good at all so I immediately got to try peeling off plastidip for the first time.

Loved the guide, gave it a shot this weekend.

Turned out surprisingly well, and somehow found a suede which matches the interior and seat almost perfectly.

Wife had me do her set as soon as she saw mine.

Too much work. I'd rather have some Chinese 12 year old do mine.

J/k.

I'm gonna go look for some fabric. I was considering some JPMCoachwork stuff, but this might be cheaper and more fun.

Decided to tackle this today. I have 1 visor done. I had to redo the side with the mirror because I screwed it up. I decided to wrap the cover for the mirror. As you can see from the pics, it doesn't sit flush. But it won't be visible most of the time, so I am cool with it. BTW, i'll update if my 2nd visor comes out any more flush. I think I just needed to get the fabric tighter in the corners for the mirror section.

EDIT: 2nd side came out much more flush.

These cover jobs look really good, but labor intensive. Does anyone think a black Sharpie Magnum Permanent Marker could be used to cover up the sticker? What is the material of the sticker, so I can tell if the marker would work?

I would use black duct tape before I started trying to draw over it...

I don't think a sharpie/coloring over would work well or look good.

A precut vinyl rectangle might work well, but trying to measure it/cut it right would be a pain.

I know this thread is more or less dead, but it shouldn't be! This is an excellent write up! Covers 100% of the job and Shutter is 100% right about the difficult sections. My visors turned out amazing, can't wait to tackle the headliner!

One word of advice for anyone willing to try this: Make sure your fabric is crease-free. Iron it out with a little steam, low heat(THIN FABRIC). If you can't iron, ask your girlfriend. If she can't iron, fire her and get a new one.
