Is it possible to have an aftermarket hood painted in silver ignition? Does anyone know about where or how to get the paint? Tried searching with no luck.

What gas as you running and what's the ethanol content?

There's no proof that ethanol has anything to do with chirps, only speculation, but I'm searching for any help. It seems that once it starts, nothing including the TSB is a permanent fix including (I think) switching gas brands.

Meanwhile, I'm logging ECU spark retard with defined alarms since a popular theory is that chirps may predict DI failure precipitated by detonation shown in ECU logs as ignition retard. All anecdotal at this point, though.

Thought about this today, theoretically us 10 series owners would look really stupid drifting flashing the LEDs on and off while ebraking. Was sitting in traffic for a quite a bit so I put it in neutral and pulled the ebrake to avoid moving. In the reflection I see my lights turn off.

Is there no ethanol in any PR gas? Maybe you're like other Caribbean islands I've been to don't have ethanol blends.

Only one company offers Ethanol mixed gas... it was a pilot program that started back in May... don't know if they still offer it though... I don't use that company's fuel...
