ATE Blue or Motul RBF600 and some higher cF pads will be cheaper and work fine.
I bet the the TRD calipers will improve pedal feel. The WRX has your standard 2/1pot sliders and the STI has 4/2pot aluminum fixed calipers; no one complains how the pedal feels in the STI, but many people complain of "squishy" pedal in the WRX. I don't see the point in adding HEAVY disks to a light, not too powerful car. I'm way more interested in those "sport seats". |

Now I understand why we wouldn't want a 19" rim for anything other than show.
But why are some people saying they'd go with a 17" rim over an 18"? Or a 16" over a 17". Btw I'm talking about for track driving. With the 19" that width and grip would likely take some of the load off the inside tire and hurt your skid a bit, but it seems to me like 18" on 225's would be the ideal size... not much sidewall to flex, the inner tire wouldn't be unloading during hard cornering, there's enough width for superb grip (maybe 235 would be better with those gigantic 6 pot brakes?). If someone that's got more wheel/tire experience could explain it to me I'd appreciate it. P.S. the TRD kit pretty much sealed the deal for me. I want this car, period .

![]() As far as the TRD parts go I think you could see these for sale in the U.S. seeing as how the tC has them but expect to pay a high price. |

Scion knows people what this option and they know Toyota offers it as an option or standard equipment on the 86. So there is always a possibility that it will be a factory option or accessory if not at first then in the near future. If its a part it can always be ordered and installed. Yeah BRZ limited is pimp...but why pay $5k more for it over a FR-S? I got a few friends in japan, so I have some connections for parts. |

I've been derping around the scion site, and it's funny cuz they charge $800 smackers for the shipping/handling crap AND $1000 more smackers for documentation. So they technically say the scion tC is $18,575 but really its $20,359.
