Its voice controlled but I hear ya. I would rather have proximity with push start and HIDS. I could care less for anything else.
Techies use Google+

And all this push start talk makes me want to gouge out my eyes.

I am with you on this one. I am not even a driving enthusiast, but more often than not, I do not even turn the radio on when I drive. Not that I am focusing on the driving experience, but I am probably enjoying a time I have all to myself.

Why does the hood to bumper cover line suck so much from almost every angle? It's my only gripe about the car. The hood should extend down to the inner tips of the lights.

One more reason why the BRZ is the real enthusiast version of the GT86 and the FR-S is just another Scion.

Yeah, but I'm not worried about myself. I'm worried about the 16 year old who just got his first car.

+1

It does seem like that's the only line on the car that doesn't flow very well.

My tenant/roommate needed an automatic so she could text while she drives.... I'm not kidding. She chose an A4 convertible because it had the best crash test results. I don't understand women.

That makes absolutely no sense...

16 year olds (and people in general) are going to text, facebook, tweet, whatever else while they drive whether they have this radio or not. No amount of laws will stop that. Would you rather have that 16 year old
a) using voice control on their radio to send texts, still looking at the road and able to react
or b) looking at their phone to send texts, not watching the road, swerving into the other lane, not able to react

**yawn**

mornin all....cant wait to see what Scion has to say today. Im pretty pumped! even though im in so much pain from snowboarding last night (i had a bad wipeout).

I see some people also think that the car under the tarp is the test car spied from Laguna. The thing that is driving me nuts is WHATS UNDER THE HOOD! We know its turbo, but i just want to see how they mounted, how they plumbed, how they fit FI components in a small bay. I hope we get a peek.

There is no point in adding a infotainment system to a car that is supposed to be a barebones pure fun car. The BRZ isn't barebones either, but at least what they do add has a function. HID's? Yes, please. Push Start? Awww yeah! Navigation? I could use that. Nicer interior? Why not? Twitter and Facebook? Who the fuck cares.
