Shouldn't anyone be able to haggle it to $300 above invoice?
They benefit from the fact that the community as a whole will recognize that THEY are the dealer that facilitated the group buy, building good will.

Additionally, initial buyers in the group buy are likely to turn in good surveys, which are extremely important to the dealer

Put me down for a potential buyer for the first gen group buy. I'll be a confirmed buyer if they throw in/ give a great deal on the bonuses, I.e extended warranty, services, etc.). On that subject, it wouldn't be dealer specific for the service package for example, right ? Because I live in nor cal and would like to go to my local for maitanence.

You should be able to go anywhere for your local maintenance. Just the purchase will be made in SoCal.

Lol no prob.

I need to go see Frank in person so I can ask him some questions and put a face to the guy who's involved with the group deal.

Going to confirm if there is something with the 300$ above invoice. Which means.. is that including parts wanted and after/before taxes + registration.

What other deals can be added on.. (ex. extended warranty etc)

The wait is too loong. This must be how cartman felt when he was waiting for the Wii to come out and froze himself to shorten the time but ended up in the future.

Right, guys?

Think of it like this.. the more time it is.. the more time you can save. Least we'll have a deadline.

Trolling is substantially different than Lurking/Creeping. :P

You were most likely being a Lurker/Creep than a troll (which are people who will be most likely banned here.)

;p

Updated the post btw.

haha - important difference - duly noted, thanks for the correction!

Excited about the car I Know there are a million threads about pricing/options/etc. plus that compounded with it being a gen 1 car I'm not 100% sold that I will be picking it up just yet. Hopefully with more official news I can come forward with a straight answer

BTW:

Those planning to buy it right off the bat. PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR FINANCES SET.

DO NOT SPEND YOUR LIFE'S SAVING ON THE CAR.
DO NOT SELL ANY OF YOUR CHILDREN FOR THE CAR (IF APPLICABLE).
DO NOT SELL A FAMILY MEMBER FOR THE CAR.
DO NOT ROB AN ESTABLISHMENT FOR THE CAR.

And most importantly...
Make sure you have a 3 months of "extra" savings for a precaution. The three month rule normally works really well when done correctly. This rule will also enable you to keep up with other bills without actually hurting your finances too much. Balance.

I also know that most people might flake off the list at some point so take what info I can give you into consideration. We still got a ways to go but keeping your money in the correct balance will help you in the long run. (Not here trying to tell you what to do, but to help you from screwing yourself over).

Dumb/noob question 4 ya Giccin - I've been talking to alot of people on how to best purchase a vehicle (This will be my first car that I bought!) and I was wondering for the group buy...is everyone just paying it all up in front w/ cash? Or can I get in on the whole thing with my own banks financing with my own determined # of down payment?

Apologize again if this is a retarded question I just figured I'd get a quicker answer here
