Thanks for the encouragement.

The buzz is running low after my dealer said the National Dealer Meeting is in Atlanta next month. Most of the 2014's will be displayed and will effectively make all FR-S's a year older in the used car guides.

I don't know if the '14 FR-S will be displayed and don't expect much if any changes other than a price increase, but it's aggravating getting a new car at MY buildout with no discount.

Anyway, I asked if the big annual meeting in Hotlanta during August and hurricane season was planned by Scion executives.

Does anyone know if the lighted shift knob could be used on a manual? I am just curious if the only reason they did not include it with the manual was due to the lack of gears printed on the top, or if the threading is totally different. I am personally not interested in putting one on my MT car, but I am curious if it can be done. I know the manual they showed at the New York Auto Show had it on there. If anyone has one and can try it on a friend's manual, let me know.

If u look closely on the New York car, there is a small square plaque/sticker with the gears printed near the push button.

Add me to list of future owners!! Put a deposit on one today that the dealer is hoping will be here in the next 2 weeks. I'm gonna call back tomorrow and try to get the VIN. Gonna have them install the fogs at the dealership and maybe the TRD exhaust.
