Hello there, names Victor.
Been following this car since the first concept (which I think is the best version) And I am hoping to pick me up an FRS in the next few years after graduation. The only things im waiting for are price, options and what color i want

Hi, Names Darin... been following since the first announcement. my brain has been sunkin' in JDM since a kid, and I think I found the perfect piece. I have to say i'm little obsessed with every little bit of information I find. I've never done so before. Atleast that heavily into a car that isn't even on the market yet... soon that will change.
I'm aiming for a 2013 year to grab a FRS. Of course I need to see what Scion plans to offer. |

NC is the third gen and a (pretty) convertible car. The Clio RS is fun, but not really pretty !

Hello and konichiwa,
I'm Gereon, new here, from germany, driving a MR 2 W3. nice forum here, I've had several views already in the past. The new GT86 is defitively an interesting option, as the MR 2 is 11 years old now and I'm looking for a substitute.. |

I just couldn't take it anymore. Too much good info on here not to be apart of it.
I currently drive an '05 mazdaspeed miata. I will never get rid of it but it will become a dedicated track/autox car once the frs is home. Just a bit of info on the mazdaspeed miata: less than 4000 were produced mine was #235 off the line in 05. Has a factory turbo, lip kit, lip spoiler, black headlights, 17" racinghart wheels, powdercoated valve cover, lsd, and limited edition paint schemes. I had a large fmic and boost gauge ordered about a week before I bought the car. I've since added s/s brake and clutch line, ported/slotted rotors, pads, roll bar, intake, mbc@11 psi from the stock 7.5, BOV that does recirc and atmospere, straight pipe cat back exhaust, sway bars, coilovers, hid's, federal ss595 tires, And a partridge in a pear tree. Only things left to do are a larger turbo, ecu, rear end gearing, seats, and some 15x9 wheels. The frs is replacing this so FI is gonna happen. And some pic whoring, these are all within a week of getting the car. Things dont look quite the same. ![]() ![]()

Hi, folks!
Just decided to register - I was already watching this forum for a while, too much quality information to stay away (thanks to all involved!). Not much to say about myself; I'm Romanian, I drive an Auris - yes, nothing sporty; I wasn't into motorsports so far. It's a very good car but quite uncommunicative, maybe a little boring. Why am I here? Well, when I saw the GT 86 it was love at first sight J/k, but I like what I saw so far. I won't necessarily buy it, though; it depends on the price, if there is a tiny bit practical, if the suspensions aren't too rigid for our bumpy roads, if I feel like following a dream rather than being rational...True, we don't have many suitable roads for such a car, and no motorsport circuits either Our Transf_agarasan - remove the underscore, the forum software thinks I'm writing something nasty - was named "the best driving road... in the world" by TopGear, though (despite it's bumpy surface); and I'd also recommend Transalpina, our highest altitude road (freshly asphalted, so freshly that I don't think they finished it yet - but in the summer it should be a blast). My first car? The good ol' Oltcit, a pure Romanian car as you can see by following the link ![]() Sometimes I miss that car; low driving position, good feedback on everything you were doing and, last but not least, the noise - oh, yeah, that baby had an air-cooled boxer engine! I want all of those back, and more. Last edited by Kunzite; 12-25-2011 at 09:43 AM. |

Howdy! I've been lurking regularly enough that I figured I ought to just go ahead and register, so here I am. I've been driving a Honda CRX for a few years and love it, but it's starting to show its age; I think it's time to step up to a daily driver that has little niceties like cruise control, A/C, a heater that can be operated without crawling around under the dashboard, defrosters that work, etc. I'm eyeing the FR-S and BRZ very closely -- I like the front end on the BRZ better, but ultimately it may come down to weight differences or insurance premiums, who knows?
Here's me doing what I do with my CRX: ![]() I'm hoping to make the AS1 into a competitive Street Touring-class autocrosser, but we'll have to see where it lands class-wise first. |

Hi all, my name is Thomas and I live in Belgium(Europe, lol). I currently own a Miata NA 1.8 (Yes US import!) and a BMW E36 320i for DD. I have been following these forums aswell as the car for quite a while now, but thought it was time to make an account here!
I seriously can't wait for this one.. Definitely the TRD one looks hot as hell. It will be the perfect car to run on the Nűrburgring! Its only a 2,5hour drive from here.. Oh man Let dreams come true for once!
