I appreciate you guys!! Yep, all about some OEM+. Even the DBA rotors are now available in JDMland as a TRD brake upgrade. Who saw that one coming?

Is that underglow? White on white actually looks really good if you ask me. Nice job. Looks so clean.

Nah. We were playing with some different flash effects. She's in the process of sending me the rough stuff to pick-out what I wanna keep. Pretty stoked. I'm actually gonna have her come by my showroom tomorrow to get some shots that we missed.

They are the JDM Clears with JDM amber bulbs. I'm not a fan of white bulbs for side markers, turn signals, etc..

Your ride is seriously looking clean! Congrats!

I'm interested in your opinions and additional info on 2 of your mods.

1. the door stabilizers. Been interested in these for awhile now. Any noticable benefits? Worth the money?

2. Those brakes! Love them. They look more OEM and low key than other look at me brakes. Can you shed some more light about them and provide cost and where to source? Where they just a simple bolt on process?

Awesome ride! Thanks.

Thank You so much for the kind words!

1. Nope. I didn't really notice any difference. Prolly not worth the money. I am that sucker that will fall for OEM claims of increased rigidity and handling through X part.

2. I picked up the calipers from subarugenuineparts.com. I've bought stuff from them for years and years. I've only had one issue with them, ever and they made right by it quickly and painlessly.
I got the Hawk Pads/DBA Rotors from tirerack.com. Yes, once I had put all of the different spacers, shims, clips, pins, pads, rotors, lines etc it was a bolt-off to bolt-on affair.
I can't remember where I got the Stoptech Lines from? Maybe Ebay?

I won't really reccomend this brake set-up for most people as it is more of a lateral mod. The only real "upgrade" was the pads/rotors/lines as is evidenced by TRD now offering them as an upgrade in the JDM. Our calipers are just as capable as these 4 pots and are only heavier by a few pounds.

They are more of a "bling" mod than all out performance mod. Your performance money would be better served with the AP, Brembo, Wilwood, etc kits out there.

I'm just not really a fan of BBK's and the associated costs of pad, hat, rotor, etc replacements. Nor do I need the all-out performance that a BBK offers. My car is my daily and is built as such. I wanted some better stopping performance and am a big fan of any and all OEM parts that will simply bolt-up to the BRZ.

You would be able to get the same "performance" brake upgrade with the same recipe of pads, rotors and lines. The calipers just added that OEM bling that I was looking for without the costs and headaches of the STi Brembos or other available BBK's.

Granted I would love to have the TRD 6-pot kit but I feel like the first time that I really stepped on the pedal, I would lose the skin off my face or I might actually stop time. Those brakes make me swoon but I just don't have the need for em.

I think someone might have already beat you to it. I think me and @switchlanez might have been the first SWP and WRB but I've seen another SWP car with the full kit stateside.

With this kit it doesn't really matter who is first though. It's really a timeless design.
