Looking real good so far! How did those 4 pot front brakes bolt up?

Same front Mac strut suspension as any other modern Subaru; same bolt spacing on the knuckle. Those don't have leading/trailing pistons so it's no biggie despite the different brake orientation. Rotor should be the same size as stock, too.

I like everything sans le Rain guards .. for an OEM option they sure do look like an aftermarket mass produced item setup to handle more than just the twins.
Also, I like that battery tie down - pretty awesome piece. |

I kinda feel the same way. The Rain Guards are more of a function over form mod for me. I regularly travel in the rain and would like to be able to roll the windows down to get some air into the cabin.I would really prefer to have the old style JDM Suby Impreza Rain Guards. These aren't the most aesthetic pieces but they work great. |

Next round of mods:
Syms Bonnet Dampers - ![]() ![]() OEM Legacy Antenna - ![]() ![]() ![]() This is strictly a "look" mod with absolutely no function. The OEM BRZ Antenna has a completely different harness and associated circuitry board. I was able to tuck the BRZ antenna in between the headliner and roof. The Leggy antenna is just a pretty plug. Kinda like this one - http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12105 Fortune Auto 500's w/ Swift/Roller Bearing Upgrades - ![]() I'm rolling 20mm/20mm spacers front/rear until the rims that I want are available for purchase. Big thanks go out to: Myles @Racecomp Engineering for his wonderful words of advice. Billy and Josh @ImportImage for being kick-butt vendors. I tried to pay MSRP and they weren't having it. Andrew and Crew @ AndrewTech Automotive for their outstanding, second to none service and customer relations. If you ever need any work on your car hit em up. They are a great bunch of guys that I've known for years now. Yuki @Japanparts.com for dealing with my crazy requests for products Last edited by Beyer Subaru; 03-24-2013 at 05:56 PM. |

Looks great Matt, you've done a lot since I saw it. I'll definitely steal some of your ideas for my 2016 limited. Long 2+ years for me, I've got the itch (again) already.

Ahhh @thermobox I forgot that was your other name. Your SWP STI is looking sweet. Liking that Legacy sharkfin adaptation.

I got the coils to hold me off until Subaru releases their own. I was looking closely at the TRD coils but I've seen used ones for sale already on the JDM aftermarket and don't feel to good about them because of that. If neither work out OEM, I know that I've got some quality aftermarket pieces that will last. Last edited by Beyer Subaru; 02-26-2013 at 10:36 PM. |
