HI,

What's material for your WRB engine cover? It did look very nice.
I just worried the engine is very hot and not sure that this cover
can handle the heat or not.
What's your opinion?
Thanks.

It's just the same as the OEM black cover. There is no difference in the quality of materials used other than the color.

It's an OEM part that SAA supplies to market. You can see it here - http://www.e-saa.co.jp/02/seihin_whx237.html

Modellista also now offers one in red for the Toyota. You can see it here - http://autostyle-usa.com/?pkey=item_...url=modellista

Is it the overlay (put on the black one) or total replacement (replace the
black one)?
Thanks again.

It's a direct replacement. You remove your stock one and put on either the blue or red one. Same material as stock.

No prob. I almost preemptively answered your question, but got distracted. I used a flat head screwdriver and pushed a tab poised towards the very front of the engine bay (or what would be the "bottom" of the cover when facing directly overhead). Just push the tab in, kind of pry up, and the cover should release. They're VERY strong and resilient, so don't make a big production of removing it. It's very easy.

Yep, one tab on the front and two on the back. They are fairly strong but like all plastics they can break if you're not careful.
