This analogy might help explain it.

remembr how the input from the dvd player has 3 pins....red, white yellow,

So in FAIRYLAND red & white are speakers and yellow is video.
But in UNICRONLAND yellow and white are used for speakers and red is used for video.

So when we are using a UNICORNLAND product in FAIRYLAND we have to "re-pin" it. Meaning we have to put different colored pins in different sockets. So yellow goes in red socket, white goes in white socket and red goes in yellow socket.

Will buying the Tapturn Flasher Relay resolve this problem? Also will the tapturn replace the LED Flasher Relay Module TOMS Provided?

I have these on my personal BRZ as well and I did not notice any difference. I will have to keep an eye on it today to see if I notice a difference.

And just a FYI, all the new Tom's will be plug and play. No unicorn wiring needed

Hey Rick. i went with the Buddy Club Ones that are coming out in October. i absolutely love the Toms but i decided to go with the BC's cause they were newer, so less people would have them, plus the sequential signal. i also really like the way they look a lot

love your vids on YT BTW

getting the relay off took the longest for me. the tight space was confounding me, that and how to use the small flathead on the relay. i wound up popping the whole thing off, detaching the relay, using a small flathead to take off the top connector, then reversing.

Don't worry it's not just you. I had to do the same thing trying to get that relay out. I mangled the white clip in the process, but kept enough of it's shape that I was able to reuse it and reclip it back after (had a good amount of cuts on my wrists to show for it though...my coworkers probably thought I tried to off myself after seeing my wrists).

HAHA yeah my first time doing it, I got pretty cut up. When I installed them on my own car, I knew what I was getting into and managed to only have one small but on my hand. But we all know cars need a blood sacrifice, so if you are not getting cut, you are installing it incorrectly

Thanks,
Rick

The exhaust we show in the pictures and videos is the Invidia Q300 which you can see here: Invidia Q300

Currently we are running the Pre-Production Tomei Titanium 60S exhaust.

Let me know if you have any other questions
Thanks,
Rick

Just an update, we now have the USDM DOT legal Tom's tails in stock and ready to ship. No cutting, no wiring, 100% plug and play and DOT legal to keep "The Man" happy

They look identical to the JDM spec ones we have on our car just with an additional bulb on the side reflector to comply with US regulations.

Thanks again.
Rick
