If you guys are at all on the fence about E85 because it is available to you / semi available... DO IT. You wont regret it (except the whole inconvenience of not every station carrying it).

Toan's Flex E-Tune was fantastic from the first flash he sent over.

Are you running a flex fuel kit?

Your flex-fuel tuned was based on the Toan's long-term flex fuel tune developed on our shop car so it should be dead on. As much as I love the power potential from ethanol, the use of it as a daily driver fuel in Northern VA is a real PITA. There's only one location in our area and having to drive there for refilling takes some of the fun away. 2 hrs round trip and $10 toll road charge But as far as power gain, you can't beat it. If you have access to e85 nearby, by all means try it out.

For those that don't have access to e85, you might want to give our WMI system a try. Since the shop FRS has both our prototype Flex-fuel racing swirl pot fuel system and our pnp WMI System in place, I'll be running the WMI for the street and most track events and switch to e85 (actually e70) when I want to max out the turbo's potential.

Keep in mind, our turbo system comes with a pre-welded WMI bung on the upper IC piping where the MAF is mounted so when you install the WMI kit, you simply remove the brass plug on the WMI bung to install the WMI nozzle. No need to remove the piping to have a bung welded on and have to re-powdercoat the piping--the hard part was already done for you.

Are there any details on the Ptuning flex fuel system?

With the release of our race header + WMI System combo, I'm expecting to see a lot more 400+whp pump-gas PTUNING turboed 86s roaming the streets and running the tracks

Awesome! So there is a sizeable difference that header makes. My car maxed at 385 hp / 310 tq @ 16 psi on the JDL header, but I did not have an oil cooler. Glad I decided to get in on the PTuning header!

At it again. Forgot my suction cup mounts, so I just shoved a camera in between the seat headrest.

As always, we enjoy watching your track videos--wish we had more time to hit the track on the east coast. How many more track events do you have for the remainder of the season? We are working on some track-oriented upgrades this fall/winter and hopefully we'll have it ready before next spring
