Hey guys I want your opinion of what I've been thinking about lately. I know you guys all say that there is minimal lag with the GT3076R on this car with this kit but a smaller turbo have even less lag and I don't plan on going over 400whp ever so I don't think I'll ever get to fully utilize the gt3076R. I was thinking of possibly trying to do a GTX2867r instead even though I'd have to run a different sized intake and everything. I'm unsure how much this would complicate things but I was just brainstorming and wanted to hear peoples opinion. I'm sure I'll be satisfied with tht gt3076r but I don't know if I'd be more satisfied with the response of a smaller turbo.

If you're looking to have us install the turbo system, then we can certainly make the GTX2867R work. Give me a call at the office when you're free and we can discuss it further.

GTX3076R! Lol. No seriously though this turbo spools up just as quick if not quicker than my 2015 WRX. It's also nice to know I have room for growth and that I know I not stressing the turbo with only ~8 PSI. Good luck with your choice!

My recommendation would be to go with the GT3076/GTX3076 and definitely get Toan's tune.

What type of strut bar would fit on this turbo kit? Im guessing that these wont?

Has anyone installed a strut bar, have you faced any issues?

That won't clear.
I bought the cusco carbon fiber strut tower and they do not clear.. I have to find a way to raise it half an inch.

And it will probably be more of an issue if I decided to install a CF hood similar to this one...

Can Confirm this is NOT a issue. I have been running this hood since day 1

Im sure that it is nearly impossible if I wanted to install that CF hood and the strut bar together? What do you think of the hood build quality and do you think it helps with the heat?

Not sure about the STB combo but I know there is still clearance to fit one. I do believe the hood helps with the heat (its only 1 lb heavier). Quality is standard seibon which is pretty good. I have not had any issues.

You won't have problems with hood. I know several other boosted 86 around my area with seibon hoods and they all said it helps. I'm just waiting for my varis
For the strut tower I've heard from earlier post, the cusco ones fit. I guess the cf and the regular one have different clearance.

So we know that the headers will be ready next month so will the oil cooler... Yesterday when i was out in the car was one of those days that I really needed to clean my front window, so I had to do the stop and get out of the car and wipe the window
