Could someone take a look at this and let me know if everything looks good. I see the AFR dip when I go WOT but that's about all I know to look for. Thanks

Rob has done it before but they require very precise charging and there are way more consequences if things go south.

Plus the added cost really drives down the affordability of the ESC.

AFR is quite a bit higher than mine at high rpm, i'm 11.2 where you're 12.6. No idea if thats a good/bad thing though.

I am mainly interested with the factory battery. I doubt it is sealed, but it is a working battery and seems a waste of money to buy a whole new one. I just wasn't sure about needing to be vented. I googled it, but some people said the newer batteries only give off hydrogen, insted of acid vapor(rust causing) like the older batteries. and that the trunk isn't completely sealed, so there shouldn't be a problem with buildup.

I'm sure Hindenburg thought something similar. I would add a vent.

I'm a little nervous now, I've drove it about 100 miles so far.

I'm sure 12's is still considered safe. Assuming you're using the OFT map from Shiv? I'm intrigued more than anything as 11.2 vs 12.6 at the same RPM is a pretty good difference, considering its the same tune.

I'm using the OFT map. I'll log my trip to work tomorrow and see if anything different happens.

@shiv@vishnu do you think you can comment on some of these catalogs that people are posting. Is there a way we can filter them to you to see if everything is as expected?

It seems most are in the low 11s but some are in the 12s. What should we expect to see?

Also what about the couple of people that have posted logs that show a quick shot to lean at about 2500 and then a taper down to 11s?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

How about doing the classic diode isolated dedicated to the stereo battery in the trunk?

@ Robftss
I can`t be the only one who blinked and missed something.
Can you please summarize the differences between the three levels of dump packs?

I would add a vent for the stock battery too, but the Hindenburg was torched due to flammable paint on the skin that ignited from static electricity.

Replacing the stock starter battery is one of the easiest weight reductions you can do in any car. Well worth the price.

One of the reasons . I saw that myth busters too.
