Here's ours:
- HRE C106 18 x 9 +35 (All 4)
- Dunlop Z2 255/35R18 (All 4)
- No Rubbing, No modification

Additional Info:
- Due to smaller aspect ratio, the 255/35R18 overall diameter is the same as 255/40R17 on the Direzza ZII, so gearing is the same. Good to know for guys that are on the fence about 17" vs 18" with using these tire sizes. 18" tires are more expensive, but sexier
- We are running Koni single adjustable shocks, so this fitment is good for stock style strut perches. Our camber plates include OE crash bolts which are set to full negative camber. So they are set to the least amount of tire to perch clearance.
- Front camber is -2.8°

I've just purchased a set of 17x9, e42 Rota Grids for my meaty ride. Not real light, but with 245/40 Conti DW tires it'll be reasonable. Wife (her daily driver car) didn't like thin spoke wheels, so the Rotas were really the best option.
So, question - if I go with say Race Comp Yellow springs and crash bolt/camber kit, I'll end up losing some gap between the spring perch and rim/tire compared to stock springs and no camber/crash bolts? What about JUST springs? Will the gap get narrower? Thanks for any feedback y'all may have!

are you talking about inside clearance between the perch and rim? if so camber would in theory actualy put you closer to it. the perch and diameter is still the same size. and whats getting lower it the top. the bottome of the purch will stay the same level with the wheel. just try to picture that, perch is connected to the hub, and whats dropping is the top. either way you should be okay, the offset is aggressive enough to give you some clearance. however i'd ask @King Tut about stock perch questions.

You're going to have to dial camber out, I have this exact same spec with the same tires at stock height. You can find my thread in the wheel section, there is 3mm clearance from the perch to the tire. When lowering it's not going to fit unless you remove a lot of camber. Either remove camber, don't lower it, add spacers, or get coilovers - pick one.

Nope. The lower spring perch is in a fixed location. It does not move at all relative to the wheel, so if you want to keep it, you need to size your wheel/tire to accomodate.
