Thinking I am needing more camber in the front of my car, RCE T2s current setting is near -2.5 degrees. Camber only set via "lowering" and OEM crash bolts. Camber plates are looking to be the best option, but not sure on which to get with out spending $600. Any other options I am missing?

Have used Whiteline Com-C on previous cars, but seem to have issues on the brz chassis.

RaceSeng is the go-to, but you're right that they're kind of pricey. RCE just came out with theirs for about $420 and Velox is $330. Neither are caster adjustable like RaceSeng, but RCE's adds 0.8 deg caster.

RaceSeng is the best option. PM me to order; we can help you out a bit.

Definitely. I'm not a good enough of a driver to extract the additional grip through mild oversteer consistently for an entire lap yet

You'll get there soon enough. You have the right mentality, and I think we'd agree that seat time is king.

Don't get too comfortable with an understeer setup. The more comfortable you get, the more uncomfortable you will be if/when you decide you learn a balanced or oversteery setup.

Recommendations? I was thinking about the cobalt xr2 front and xr4 in back. The only reason I would like to go with hawk is for their NASA contingency program.

The XR2 is also corrosive.

The most neutral brake dust I've seen is from Carbotech/G-loc. Endless also makes some neutral pads, but they get up there in $$$$...

I can attest to the easiness of Carbotech's.

In my Miata, I left XP10/8 dust on the wheels for MONTHS after a track weekend and some rain. It easily washed off with the normal amount of effort and didn't damage the wheels.

I'd love to know your secret. I had Carbotech XP12 dust I left on my ZO6 for a while and it's absolutely BAKED on there. Iv'e scrubbed and tried numerous products and it isn't coming off...

I haven't had an issue yet with the BRZ Enkei wheels, but the Vette OEM front wheels are beyond saving so far.

Maybe XP12 is where they sacrificed paint friendliness for performance?

My XP10's have been similarly mild and washes away easily even after being left on through the rain and wet.

If you get the wheels wet and/or expose heavily caked dust to extreme heat, you're effectively baking the dust onto your wheels...

I use Iron-X to clean my wheels. Typically will try and clean them fairly often with normal car wash soap. Prior to using iron-x.

I generally don't use the car hard enough to bake it on there, but that's definitely what's happened. I've only done 2 track days, and that's when I was learning a few years back before I bought the BRZ. They were painfully slow paced before I decided it was an awful car to learn with (it's boosted). Otherwise, it's been relegated to 1/2 mile racing so maybe that's what did it trying to shut it down at the other end? Who knows...gave up on getting them clean a while back.

I'm all ears if anyone has ideas. I had just planned on having them blasted and powdercoated some day. Anyway, different car so...trying to be more careful with the BRZ.

I use XP12's on the BRZ now, but I've only used them once so far at Road America. Seem to have washed off fine.
