Interested ...Please post a DIY. This is much easier than mess with the interior options. The remaining is the Toyota badges and some small parts then you are not too far away from the JDM GT 86!

Can I re-use fogs lights from BRZ with the FR-S bumper cover if I decided to swap the bumper covers?

Most likely no, considering how different they are but you can buy fogs and wire them to the frs bumber. Turn signals though that's a different story. It shouldn't be to hard though.

Could someone share info if this is even doable? Any pictures? Seems like there are a lot of people asking for this.

I too would be interested in seeing this. It would make the decision between buying an FR-S and BRZ a lot easier

It really would. I'm liking everything about the FR-S except I really want the headlights and fog lights from the BRZ. I know they swap over fairly well, but where do you find dang BRZ headlights for your FR-S?

another thread of someone asking for help and a bunch of posts asking "why" lol
im not sure if it was Bee*R , but someone in japan picked up a BRZ and wanted to mount the rocket bunny kit and ended up having to swap to frs bumper . Has to be a writeup about it somewhere on the web. Hope that helps you not sure how i feel about swapping. stock vs stock i'd chose the brz but i dont really Love the brz bumper. BUT the choice of aftermarket lips for the frs bumper is definitely very nice.

I'd swap my fr-s bumper for a limited brz bumper... Just gotta find a creative way to do turn signals(nvm I'd just use the strip slot above the foglight area on the brz bumper.)
FYI I have a 37c fr-s bumper w/toyota badge, switchback 6k turn signals, and jdm foglights. I'm in the SW IL area

It's harder to swap all the BRZ parts into a FR-S than vice versa, which is why so many people want to do this, but if the headlights and fogs are the only thing you care about, you should go for the FR-S for sure. There are more threads about doing this than there are of swapping a BRZ bumper with an FR-S. Check this thread out for a lead on some GT 86/BRZ parts |
