Any chance they throw us a bone if we can't go? Get some kind of compensation or something? I mean the trip is going to cost them at least 1-2k to send me out there so if I don't go hopefully than can kick back at least a little

Hey, if anyone of you can't make it due to prior plans, i'm willing to take ur spot and will compensate you for it. I don't know if Scion would allow it but i'm willing to pay within reason and since i'm on the waiting list, its a bummer if there empty spots that won't be filled. PM me if ur interested.

Invite is for one person and only open to those selected for the First 86. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate guests. All expenses will be paid including travel and accommodation.

My wife is a first 86 winner, I drive a spitfire, any one note that the roof looks like the hard top on the latter spitfires.
Missy told Scion that she wanted to go to the L.A. event but could not go in good conscience with out me. I am willing to pay my way. but that not good enough or they just dont allow it. so I am sad that we wont be going. M.C.

same boat for me, though i'm thinking we can still go and then pick and choose which actual events she attends, just use the hotel room and explore LB!

My problem is that I wanted to go and do it all with her. I think that they made a big mistake buy not allowing a +1. Just because she will be the one on the title does not mean she is the only one who is the owner. I wanted to meet Ken, Jack and Tada san and thank them myself for there most inspired creation. To make an event truly special it should be shared with someone you love. Still willing to pay my way and we are still have every intension of buying this car and keeping it for ever. Missy last toyota went for over 565,000 miles. I really hope that they have a change of heart and let us attend.

Im with you on this, I tried to bring the wife and even offered to pay the trip for her and they told me that it was not possible. Scion, if you are going to offer this, make sure to at least accommodate a family member wife/spouse..
