Scion First 86 FR-S Winners Registry

From what I recall:

Copy of email. Deposit. Agreement with four total signatures: you and the manager right then and there, and the same when pricing comes out. In addition, the dealer has to do some paperwork between themselves and Scion, from what my sales person told me.

Yeah it felt a lil sketchy signing the bottom part of the agreement that delt with the price of the car. The dealer and I signed it and they just put TBA for price, but I know I am in good hands in Norwalk Scion with their manager Mr Scion

Great thanks. That's we did but they were definitely flying by the seat of their pants on it. I did joke that I liked the price as listed, and could I order 3, 2 for me and one for the salesman. He seemed to like the idea. We didn't sign the pricing part though because it clearly said that was for when it was published.

This, from the fine print, is what I was referring to:

I think what they mean is each dealer in any given region will get one first 86 before any dealer in the same region gets 2.

I've decided that my FRS will be driven at night only for the first few months, i wont answer any questions about it when people ask and I will de-badge it so no one has any idea wtf it is...no free advertising LOL eat that scion, stop making me wait...:P

I don't feel that special. I feel rather gimmick-ed. I was excited when I won, but I have a feeling that I won't end up with the car.

Of course, if these cars are not even special, and don't come with anything unique, this whole thing is stupid anyway.

Yeah def, if any of the first 86 decide to back out, plz just buy the car and resell it at cost to one of the other forum members, there are a lot of people with a passion for this car who've been waiting a long time for it who would appreciate it, plus if those people get it early they'll be strong contributors to the board (i hope) allowing those with not as much car brains (like me) to benefit from their expertise
