Got one also in Kirkland WA. Manual transmission, hot lava color. I've had the car on order at the dealer since mid September so the only thing the dealer did was note that I'd already paid the deposit. Scion called me while I was at the dealership to confirm that I was going to accept.

This contest was genius. Nice work Scion, someone in Scion marketing is getting a raise or promotion I bet. Already know of a couple people that weren't even really planning to buy until they 'won' a chance to buy a car at full price. Any a couple others that were Subaru buyers and are now buying a Scion instead.

Yep. All I got was my annual pay raise & BAH increase, but it's almost $300 a month!

Yep...they would lose all "hype momentum" if they gave out pricing now.

Actually, for those who made the list, have you started thinking about the max you'd pay? I feel like the incentive for staying with the program, even though theres so much info we lack, is that we will get it for MSRP, whatever that may be, as the dealer won't be able to add markup or any dealer-installed accessories unless we let them and approve the additions in advance (per the contract). By waiting for the regular release, sure you have more wiggle room as far as choices and more reviews to base decisions off of, but then they are also free to add market adjustments and "performance packs" to inflate the price and increase profit margin...

Any thoughts?

Notice at every auto show we see a new thing added. We got the pioneer bespoke system at Detroit. I wonder what else will be added at the next auto show?
