The clearbra would have stopped that damage. Clearbra'ing a whole car isn't common practice but that damage looks like it is on the front bumper and front bumpers are common to protect.

It's a great protector but if you drive into a curb or something well, it's not meant to protect from that for obvious reasons.

opti-coat doesn't protect from minor scratches or rock/paint chips. It's more like a permanent wax job for us lazier people.
