I see a Houston member is backing you up. I'll try this out later, maybe I didn't hold it long enough the first time? Thanks.
My bad I think you're right. It'll be nice to have that option though

I know it's a nitpick, but I've been using metric temp in my Camry for the last 11 years. To me it's just stupid when weather reporters talk about the temp being "5 below". 5 below what? Freezing or zero. Having 0*C as a freezing point for water, (that liquid that sometimes falls from Earth's atmosphere), just makes more sense than 32*F. It's just a cleaner, nicer number.

Still a great car though.
you mean "/anal engineer rant?" As one of your fellows, I just enjoy doing the mental conversion, then checking to see if I am right. Its a fun game.

The car needs a proper center armrest and cupholders. that being said, I don't know a perfect way to fix the problem. Pretty minor gripe.

AND

The rear seats, like many sports cars, are useless and should be an optional expense for those that want it. That are would be more functional with speakers or some sort of storage.

the addition of rear seats keep insurance down. once you go into 2-seater coupe territory, insurance goes up quite a bit.

I hate the dread I feel in parking lots when I have to park in a regular space.

-The bluetooth in my stock Pioneer unit keeps skipping my songs or losing connection, so cheap.
-No way to check remaining fuel numbers? Even the most cheap equipped cars have that

-I use my back seats weekly with my kids and I wouldn't have been able to buy it otherwise since it's a backup family car.
-The bluetooth works flawlessly for me with music, it's not messed up once and I use it every time I'm in the car. Could it be your phone? Try a different device to test.
-Remaining fuel is always just a guestimate anyway and can never be trusted, you can always easily just reset your trip A each time you fill up and do basically the same thing in reverse.

As for things that are mildly annoying:

-Getting shocked every time I get out
-It's so low that I have to throw myself in sideways
-Not having the choice of just adding push to start but leaving everything else stock

Things I hate:

-Nothing!

After having the car for a few weeks now I wouldn't call them hates but annoyances. Couple of these are related to cold weather so shouldn't be much of an issue in the summer.

Side window freezing and kicking the auto light to blinking.

Getting it in to 2nd gear when cold. Have to revert to double clutching.

Some kind of whir/whine noise in the cabin around 70mph on the interstate. I've read its either the rear differential whining or the intake noise generator thing. Easily fixed if it is.

However my waiting time here in aus has been reduced from 14 months down to 8 months.
Only 5 months to go.

Red face My Opinion

IMO, The Dash, and center console were, well, rather kinda cheap.. I didnt care for the gauge clusters.. I was hoping for a more S2000 look in there, a digital gauge look ya know or a racy more personal cluster design that was found in my 2010 mazda 3 2.5. I rather enjoyed the digital gas gauge because it was more accurate than reading the one in my FR-S. All I know is it is 3.3 gallons to one quarter. In some ways it reminds me of my old Mk III Supra interior to a certain degree. The wheels are so so, so honestly the cars performance makes up for what it lacks in the looks department in the interior. Now if I was comparing for amenities and space that were found also previously in my mazda 3, then I would of just got another one or a Mazdaspeed 3 (which gets so so gas mileage btw). Which btw Mazda did an awesome job with that car as far as convenience and tech were concerned, I do miss that!
