Wow, thanks for the replies and suggestion guys, much appreciated!

I'm now torn between only 2, and that's petty good news for me!

Fortune Autos, or STs. ST's come without Camber plate nor Dampening adjustment, but they're much cheaper also.

It seems like the question now is, do I really need/want those 2 features? are they going to be a pain or a blast to adjust? (I'm the kind of person that likes tweaking stuff :P )

Again, tx for the imput!

I read somewhere that the ST's are not made in stainless, any idea what they're made of? Rust is a big deal here in Montreal :S

ST's are high grade steel with a zinc coating for rust protection. Id probably stick with stainless options if you're driving the car through salty winters. And especially if you want to continue to be able to change the ride height every season (once that rusts it's going to be a pain to adjust them again).

I'd save a bit more and go with the KW V3's, you can get better than stock ride quality on the street, it's an amazing damper system, they're stainless steel, lifetime warranty, and you get the adjustments that you said you'd enjoy tweaking around.

Personally I didn't see many options for coilovers that were actually an upgrade over the stock suspension below the ~$2000 mark. I really depends on what the OP wants. If he just wants to lower the car a bit then just get lowering springs and call it a day. No need to put cheap coils on the car and end up with something that handles and rides worse than stock.

If you are considering saving up for the V3's you might as well save a bit more and get some RCE T2's. Better than V3 plus you'd get amazing support from Myles at racecomp engineering.

EDIT: Looks like I fail at reading comprehension. Lowering springs won't work for you. ST's are great coils at their price point but you will have rust issues. My suggestion would be to save up a bit more money and get either KW V3's or RCE T2's. The T2's are more track oriented but ride as good or better than stock. The V3's I've heard can be tuned to ride much better than stock and are slightly cheaper than the T2's. Either way both have a lifetime warranty through KW.

Why not look into RCE T0s?

KW V1 or RCE T0 for the stainless finish. Can't get quite up to stock ride height but close.

RCE T0 are made by KW and are a slightly more sport version of KW V1. Both have good ride quality around a 1.5 inch drop.

I would at least recommend something that reuses stock top mounts.

skip fortune.Long story, i havent posted my story about them yet. But if ur looking to track or even DD LOL dont get the 500. I nicked the curb around 25mph and the suspension just snapped. my XXRs had a tiny outer lip bend and that its. the entire suspension snapped. Better yet when i called in they charged me to get a replacement set out. If fortune coil cant handle a nick, how can it deal with track especially if you hit apex's or slide off the track? On the other hand.. i gotta congratulate xxrs for holding up LOL

Edit: Go for ST. the BCs over time tend to have spring bind and noises same as the fortunes. At least the STs have been designed by someone who knows what they are doing. As long as ur not looking to slam, it should provide you with sufficient shock travel. Also plan for how much you really want to drop and find a coil that is optimal for that height.

I would Skip the ST. Being in Montreal you will see a fair share of salty road days. your best bet would be kwv1, RCET0, bilstein b14
