So, I'm extremely new to software tuning and I'm curious about how the stage 1 OFT 93 oct tune works with modified intakes. I haven't bought an entire new intake, but I've swapped out the filter and added a new, wider silicon intake tube.

Do I have to adjust anything?

so long as you haven't changed the intake before the MAF sensor (filter doesn't count), you don't need to adjust anything.

"new, wider silicon intake tube" sounds like he might have changed, thus maf rescaling in tune is good thing to do.

I'm thinking he means something like Perrin's silicone inlet tube, which would not need a MAF adjustment.

From my testing, those intake elbow don't do shit with or without tune besides clean up the engine bay and heat soak faster than the stock tube.

"Theoretically" they should be doing something positive for the intake charge, but in practice not so much. If it does it's miniscule and the positive effect is offsetted by the negative faster heat soak effect from my experience.

BTW take some data logs recording the fuel trims and AFR then you will find out whether if you need adjustments. It's not likely though.
