Question Comprehensive Coverage Claim

Hey everyone,

Recently someone hit my car in the parking lot with I'm assuming a cart. It left a small dent in the middle of the driver side door. Now with Geico I have No Deductible Comprehensive Coverage. Would filing a claim to get the dent removed have a negative effect such as a rise in rates? I plan to dump Geico after my six months ends with them and I don't want to be punished when shopping around for a new insurance company because of the claim.

Exactly how bad is the dent in question? Is it bad enough that you can't PDR it?

comprehensive claims do not result in higher rates and that is a comp claim. but dont just take my or anyone else's word on that, call up your agent to ask directly.

Why pay for zero deductible comprehensive, if you're not going to use it?
