For Those Of You Software Devs - How To Perform Better

Automate everything, I mean everything.

Especially hilarious if you look at some of the script names on the GitHub.

Why/How the coffee machine was on their network, still escapes me...a bit scary too. "Hey, is that a Keurig? No, its a Linux"

At work, more and more of our critical infrastructure has been "migrated" over to being on the network.
To the point of WHEN the network goes down, the hallway conversations about sports and gardening goes up by about 1000%.

I have often said "If we put the coffee makers on the network, that will be the end of civilization as we know it"

You are old enough to remember the mainframe days. You know, the original cloud.

When the mainframe went down it was like a prairie dog city with all the heads popping up above the cube walls.
