Post FRS - Asia Edition

Hey all,

I'm wondering if any one of you is aware of the much more attractive version of FRS in Asia.

Noticeable difference would be the start/stop button and also the layout of the buttons, which is similar to BRZ.

(Source: http://www.fastmotoring.com/index.ph...-toyota-ft-86/)

Also, does anyone know if it will be sold here in the US?

Since this forum is named after BRS, FRS, and GT86 (right there in the PAGE TITLE, even), I believe most members are aware of this.

Where to start...

1) That is the Toyota GT86. It is not an FR-S
2) That is sold only in Asia/Australia, not the US
3) Scion is an American/Canadian brand only. Scions are not sold outside of the US/CAN area

Noobs will be the end of me, I swear

I've seen the interior of both the BRZ and FR-S and honestly speaking, the exterior of the FR-S is better but the interior seems 'cheap' when compared to the BRZ. So, when I stumbled upon the Asia/Australia edition, its like the best combo that I can find.

Now, I wonder if we can import the GT86 over here.

If you have enough money, you can pretty much do whatever you want (this applies to nearly everything in life).

Yes you can but i assure you the price wouldn't be worth it. The asia GT86 is already more expensive than the frs. Throw in the fact that your on the bad side of yen to dollar conversion and the cost of shipping and importing it...

But if you have the money you can do anything.
