More money than skill... or brains for that matter

Not sure if this was posted anywhere else, but here's a guy attempting to drift his BMW 335... resulting in this:

A prime example of money doesn't buy skill, or brains.

A-Holes like this are the reason there has to be so much police presence on Mulholland. During the summer its great to see all of the beautiful cars drive up and down this highway. Then you have the douches who take it to far. Tons of videos of people bikes and cars eating shit on this left hander.

Truly impressive how quickly that bystander ran over to check to see if anyone else was in the vehicle.

He went to turn off the ignition, as the driver really wanted us to know he was OK.

Ouch. You can hear him lift as he's feeding in opposite lock. Rear snapped the other way and it was over.

He was driving like an idiot on the street, but I feel bad for the driver - does his insurance claim get denied when they see this video? Or does this still qualify as an "accident"?

He was definitely being an ass on the road by crossing DYLs and attempting to drift, but it would kind of qualify as an accident since no one ever flips their cars on purpose unless they're trying to partake in insurance fraud.

More than likely, his insurance, assuming they do find out about the video, will not only deny him coverage, but drop him altogether.

I have absolutely no sympathy for this guy. After all, he did say he's okay.

Well on that particular road there is a clearing (dirt lot) where lot of people hang out or take pics of cars or motorcycles.

I have zero doubt he felt he was just as skillful.
He was wrong.
You could be as well.

The moral of the story is? Curvy roads don't care if you drive a BMW 335 or a Miata, it'll indiscriminately bite your ass anytime it wants.
