Great Driving Roads
Hey gang, I stumbled upon this website when looking for some good driving roads. It seems to be very detailed and breaks the roads down into different category's. Just click on the state you are in on he map on the site.

Latigo Canyon Road in CA is a blast...but a lot of over-aggressive drivers have paid the price there...much like on Mulholland which is about as wide the mountain roads in Japan...which is not a good thing.

I have done the Blue Ridge Parkway in both my former Porsche, and my Miata... I also did the Tail of the Dragon (US129 in TN) in the Porsche... I mean, they truly are some of the best roads (though slow speed limited) in the country!
On the Tail of the Dragon, photographers set up shop along side the road to capture you driving your baby on the road... you pay a nominal fee to download it from their website. Cool stuff. This was me on the Tail! |

I recently drove through the mountains of TN coming back from ATL to NC, it was amazing. I was in my 08 Si then and had a bunch of camping gear and two other passengers so it wasn't the optimal setup but it was beautiful.
I'd love to make that same trek with the FR-S. Definitely through Blue Ridge Parkway as well!
