Does the toyota 86 front speakers have a crossover?
I'm planning changing the stock speakers on my 86 and I'm trying to figure out how the wiring is done at the moment. I understand that on the BRZ/FRS, the front 3.5" and twitter are connected directly to the head unit while the 6.5" is connected to an amp.
Many posts on this forum says that the Toyota 86 in Australia doesn't come with an amp. So in this case, how are the twitter, 3.5" and 6.5" speaker connected if there is no amp for the 6.5"? Does it use crossovers or are they all simply connected in parallel and have an impedance of less than 2 ohms? Any information is more than welcome! |
