Eighth and Quarter mile drag strip times -turbo cars
What kind of times are you guys netting with turbo kits in the 1/8th and the 1/4th.
Yes I know this car is mainly for turns but I do both. Just looking for info on what kind of psi and power you're making to run 'X' times. Will help me decide whether or not to turbo the stock motor or LS swap it. I'd much rather turbo, its less work. But its not really worth it unless I can get this stock motor in to the high 10s/low 11s. Thanks for any input. Supercharged cars are welcome to share times too. |

0-60 isnt really important. Someone with insane power can net a lesser 0-60 because of traction. I'm just curious to see what kind of E.Ts people are running at the track and what power they're doing it at. If there's anyone on here with boost that is. I know these cars are fairly new and not a whole lot of people have taken that plunge I would guess. I already have a 10 sec mustang, just curious if I can make this car equally fast and then have better handling
only thing I would miss would likely be the v8 sound60ft at the track is also something I'm interested in. There's not a lot of data out there about how these perform. |

Look at Spitfires build thread in the build section. Near 600whp, bunch of supporting mods, etc, etc.

we only got a couple passes in before we broke an axle and trans. we were working on keeping it from bogging off the line and falling out of boost, which only netted us a 2.3 60 ft. didn't get enough time before it broke though to get it sorted out. it should be pretty quick and reliable this winter when we finish our auto trans setup and bigger turbo/injectors. best time out of the 3 we were able to get was a poor 11.7@133
