Need help with Fog lights (Tapping into a 12v source) - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Ok so I bought the diode dynamics fog lights kit but I'm having some trouble

I have the series 1.0 frs so the headlights assembly is different from the base model. Right now I'm in the process where I have the two signal wires and the two t tip connectors. I know I need a 12v source but I don't know where to tap in to?

Does it need to be a power source that has two wires as well?

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

i tapped into side marker so the fogs come on with 1st click

Ok sounds good. I believe that the side marker is two wires correct? Do I just do red to black and black to black?

yea basically what IBROSKEE said. I tapped into the side markers for power. I have the Diode Dynamics foglight kit and has been going strong for 2 years.

Red for power and for hound jus ground to chasis

On the passenger side, I tapped into the first pin on the top row (Solid red) and black for ground. I didn't know where my side markers were wired.

I had to remove some of the electrical tape as well.
