Got into an accident kinda bummed
I always go around recommending the rb kit to anyone slightly in an accident jokingly when I knew they were ok but I've never been on the other side of it until today...
To summarize today at around 10:10am after getting off work while heading to the gym down valley towards del mar, from rosemead, I was on the furthest lane to the right. The left lane was all packed up but one car was making room for someone on the opposite lane to turn in. The lady made that turn not realizing there was a car comming down the road (me.) She didn't even look at the second lane and just gunned it. I tried to dodge her (going about 40) but was too late. She clipped my front bumper and grinded my entire left side pushing me into the curb. I'm fine just a little rattled up. Pics will go up soon. Current plans, if car is a total lost might get a wrx but most likely going back to a Frs. If it's repairable than I'm willing to do so, car has sentimental value, was 8 miles off the lot. I've been on this forums since before I got my 13 Frs and I'm not planning on leaving yet. All current sales will be lagged a little but I'll continue to do what I can for them. Obviously I can't meet up anymore. Car is currently sitting at the lovely @DTMAUTOBODY Update!! car is currently"under construction" Last edited by Vincenttam; 05-10-2015 at 08:06 AM. |

Hang in there man. From your description above it sounds like the car will be repairable, but who knows at this point. If so, your car will have sometime downtime, but will back before you know it. Nothing better than driving an FR-S after spending some time in just about ANY rental. Good luck.

Looks to like it can be saved. I see you got pushed on the curb like you said, possible suspension components damaged on both sides. Wheels, front bumper, fender, door, quarter panel and paint. I can actually see the car getting written off if it's somewhat high miles for a two year old car.
However, positive thoughts lead to positive actions... Glad you're okay, most of us have been there, you'll be back on the road in no time.

![]() this place is crazy to drive. i hear bad asian female driver jokes all the time and just tell people that it's just bad drivers everywhere, but seriously... this area is dominated by these shitty ass clueless fucknut drivers. it's like a warzone everyday. the part that makes me laugh in amazement the most is when they get mad at you for them being stupid hahaha smh
