I bought a house!

Hey guys, I bought a house. I got the keys in January and I've been working on it since. I haven't moved in yet because I've been really lazy about renovations, but it's getting there. I have the main living spaces furnished now so I can at least chillax here, although the master bedroom and the other half of the house isn't finished.

Still working on the house, so ignore tools/paint/etc that may be sitting around.

I found it on Craigslist. I think it was made around the 1970's by Plycraft. I've seen new fakes online for upwards of $800, and apparently they're not that good. This one was half that price, so I went for it. It's not bad. You don't sit in it like you would a real one though, so it's really just for looks, not design.

No, it's perfectly comfortable. It just doesn't have the same sitting and leaning position as the real one. I think this picture demonstrates what I'm talking about, real one on the right:

Oh you don't want a fake one! The flange bolts won't line up and as soon as it gets wet the rust will set in, not to mention the tips will be loose and rattle. Oh... wait.... wrong thread!

Great looking place congrats.

Nice place! I'm in the same boat. yes got my own place and the 86 got its own garage.

After closing, 1st thing I opened: the garage door for the 86, and not the front door for me.

my dilemma right now: Mods vs Furniture..
