Smile Where to park at SEATAC for a few days?

Hi guys,

So after having my own private garage for nearly 6 months, now I am paranoid about parking my car overnight at somewhere else. I've been preventing any door dings from having a garage at my apartment too. So that's a plus.

I am going to to LA (Disneyland for my birthday!!!) for a few days and it seems like driving myself to the airport would be the best choice. Taking a shuttle express van would cost me $100 roundtrip. (I live in Lynnwood, so it's kinda far out.) I had bad experience parking my car overnight (3 nights) at the garage in downtown before. I came back to see a long scratch on the driver's door. So please forgive me if I may sound like a picky person.

Do you guys know or recommend a safe parking at SEATAC? I think I prefer non-valet service, but if that's not an option, either way works. I am flying this Friday evening the 24th, so any help is appreciated! I am looking into it on yelp as well.

Thanks a bunch!

Kay

Where to park at SEATAC for a few days?

Last time I did something like I parked my car at home! Lol (when I was still living in Seattle, just south of u at Edmonds.) I basically just took the bus & monorail to seatac & had my brother pick me up when I got back. 😁 enjoy the trip!!

The shuttle probably won't be a whole lot more than airport parking. In Orlando, if I go on a trip for more than five days, I rent a car each way.

AVOID WallyPark Premeir Garage!

If you want Valet service, I use MasterPark Garage (Lot G). With AAA discount or Web-coupon, about $14-$15/day. Covered, secure parking.

AVOID Wallypark's Premier Garage on International! I used to park there until they damaged my FR-S (door ding) and refused to take responsibility. It cost $1,000 to fix the dent. And... salt in wound... it was when they Valet-parked instead of my usual "Covered Self-park".

Regardless of where you might park - ALWAYS do a walk-around of your car before leaving the lot. AND.. always note odo (tripmeter) and check to see if someone took your rig out for a short spin.

i fly a lot for work, and i usually park in the airport parking garage. just park on one of the top floors, there's usually other nice cars up there and plenty of empty parking spaces.

Surprised no one asked if you wanted a ride instead lol, I think a limo or town car service is only a few dollars more and you get to roll up to the airport like a boss

Haha that's not a problem. My flight leaves at at weird time 7pm and comes back late night. I wouldn't want to ask anyone anyway. Gotta rely on yourself! I'm an independent woman! Haha

I'm taking the shuttle express. They come pick me up at my place. I better leave my car in the garage so I don't have to constantly worry about it on my trip.

Thanks though!

I've done the top floor of the parking garage at the airport, left my car there for over a week a couple years ago and other than coming back to 20 degree weather and the car not being overly happy to start, everything was peachy.

however, a shuttle or uber is my preferred way to do it so i can fly drunk and not worry about driving when i land.

Garage
When I travel, I use the local shuttle. I think it's like 120 round trip, but it is so worth it. We figured it out once and its only little bit more than paying for parking at PDX - and so worth it not to have to worry about your car the whole time you are gone.

I'm jelly about your garage status. I park in the driveway, cause hubby has the garage full with his hobby cars.
