Which side markers do you like best on FatFree's FRS?

I've already got the clear side markers with the stock side marker bulbs but I would like to upgrade to an LED setup. Which side markers do you guys think would look best with my FRS?

I would prefer a smoked side marker and quality is important to me. It should have good fitment as well. I've been looking at the Valenti side markers as well as the Avest. I'd prefer the Valentis because I already have their tail lights and reverse light but I've heard bad things about the fitment.....

Or, do you think the clear side markers look decent enough already? I like the fact that they match the headlights and the turn signal lights but I think a smoked out LED would look a bit meaner.

if you want legit quality, get the OEM JDM clear sidemarkers and then tint it if you want it slightly dark to match the car.

JDM OEM all the way. All the others seem to get condensation sooner or later.

I have the smoked helix ones with amber LEDs in them and I love them. I had heard some complain about possible condensation so I used super glue on all the edges/seams and have had 0 problems with mine.

Agreed. Just pop the LED bulbs of your color and strength choice as replacements to the incandescent ones and go.

At $140 for the Jdm oem I'd rather just keep the clear ones that I already have. There is a little condensation but maybe I can just seal them up with some crazy glue like bfsnail said.

But I kind of like the look of the Valentis... I can't tell if they are a little too flashy/ricer though.

IMO the sidemarkers are a bit excessive
I'd rather the sidemarker not exists and have a clean look.

Stay clear of the Valenti ones due to dead leds and leakage. Can't comment on the Avest ones. Stocks are great with upgraded bulbs, the HELIX ones are great too. I'm currently running these, smoked with white led and plug & play. They also come in clear with white or amber led

I agree with this. That's why I was considering something other than clear just because it still stands out a bit.

But I think I might actually just stick with the clear after all. It is much more simple and isn't as flashy as the valenti or avest. I had the white LEDs with the clear side markers before but they were too bright and didn't match the rest of the lighting at all.

So maybe I'll just pop in some Amber LEDs and call it good. I'm still interested in any suggestions though.
