New Bride seats for the FR-S?
Bride just released a new seat called Reims. I like the fact that it's fully covered from front to back. But does'nt it look very similar to our stock seats? What do you guys think?

Yes it does. Almost ordered a Bride Stradia II Reims for that very reason, but then saw that for the same price you could get the standard Stradia II in carbon-fiber and aluminum, as opposed to FRP and steel, and it would weight significantly less.
FYI You can also order the Reims seats with blue or gray accents, instead of red, if that's your thing. |

Before I scrolled down to the Bride pic I thought some serious trolling was going on here with the pic of the stock seats.
![]() I like them, but I'll probably stick with reclinable even if I go aftermarket. As is, I really, really like the stock seats. Nathan |

Could they make that picture a little darker? It's brighter than looking directly at the sun..

No "trolling" intended
. Just needed a quick snap of stock seats vs the brides for reference. There are two variations of the seats, full bucket or reclineable. I too would prefer reclineable, for comfort reasons.

It's not really a new model. Just new color/fabric. I was seriously considering it but I don't like that the bride lettering in red

Noob question here:
Seatbelts.. how would they work with seats like these? Obviously with out a cage or the bar.

Better picture...
![]() And stock seatbelts work just fine with these. In fact, these are the exact same seats Toyota is re-upholstering and selling in Japan as TRD reclining bucket seats. |

I like the stock seats WAY to much to replace them unless I get to the point where I need a 5-pt harness/cage.

Not bad, not bad. I'm still partial to the Recaro SR-6:

How is that a more FR-S like pattern when the bride seat is almost exactly the same pattern as the FR-S seats and this is not at all!
