Scion Showroom

I'm curious what everyone's experiences/opinions of their local Scion dealership's showroom.

I've just asked to be my dealership's "Scion Champion," (goofy title, I know) and will be sitting down with my General Manager to discuss what having that title entails. One of the things I'll go over with him is how our showroom for the Scion vehicles look. Unfortunately, it looks like they decided to shove everything Scion (except the vehicles) into a corner, making the Scions feel like they're more an afterthought.

That is pretty much exactly how the Scion display at the dealership where I got my 86 was, well except it wasn't in a corner it was at the back door of their dealership going out to the used car lot.

They had basically a trade show 10x10 booth with one car sitting in the middle of it. It was usually an xB but that was replaced by an FR-S when they have one.

In the end, it was treated as an ugly stepchild, which some could argue it really is. This was a high volume Toyota dealer so I'm not really surprised.

In fact, they had a great marketing opportunity since I was a First 86 member and they took zero advantage of it. I might as well have been buying a used Corolla from them, it was the same experience.
