Removing gauge cluster trim without breaking anything
So i tore down my interior the other day to vinyl wrap a lot of the trim. I had some serious issues with the trim surrounding the gauge cluster, specifically it seemed to be permanently attached to the steering column via some pleather.
I did some googling and the only results i found all said to just break it. Turns out that was wrong. It takes some groping to find them but there are 4 clips attaching the fabric to the cluster trim, after feeling around for a few seconds they're all easy to undo. I also learned that doing that piece in red was entirely too much so i stripped it back off and left it black
